We just arrived home from spending the weekend at Hidden Acres (a camp in Iowa that Andy and I worked at while in college) for family camp. It was a blast, but thoroughly exhausting!
It is amazing how doing nothing all weekend and eating great food just wears you out! After naps we are headed to a Twins game that we had tickets for in June, but was rained out and rescheduled for tonight. And tomorrow is the first day of school. Ava will be in first grade, and this will be the first year she is gone all day, every day. I am sad, but Luke is going to be devastated. It might be a long week! I will post pics from family camp in the next post, lots of good stuff including cardboard boat races! Good times. And just because I am excited about it, I got a new stove because the old one quit working.
Sorry for how dark it is. Yay for a double oven! Can't wait to break this in!
