"Like when you were cartwheeling down the stairs, Luke. And you had to have the doctor fix your owies." ~Ava to Luke trying to explain that cars break and there are people (mechanics) that fix cars like doctors fix people. Analogies? Cartwheeling? From a 5 year old? Seriously.
"Mom, Judas arrested God." ~Luke very serious and somber to me after I got home from work today. They have been watching the Jesus movie. A lot.
And not a quote, but a picture is worth a thousand words, right? Andy and I just spent 4 days in Vail, Colorado. It was blissful.
Next up, we head to Iowa to visit Andy's parents for a few days, and a reunion with our small group from our days in Chicago. We are looking forward to everything!

Ava for president! She makes it easy to understand. And Luke's comment reminds me of one Kelsey made when she was about 3. It was Easter-time and we'd been discussing the Resurrection and when Kyle was doing prayers with the girls Kali prayed eloquently "And thank you that Jesus rose from the grave...". She barely got her "Amen" out when Kelsey blurted out "Jesus did NOT get froze in the grave!" We still laugh about that one! Your two are so sweet. Hugs to all.
