And we're off

Spring it seems has finally arrived! Time to break out the bikes!
Luke has always been a bit of a daredevil and has incredible balance (walking at 8 1/2 months, definitely gets it from daddy) so we decided to see how would do with out training wheels (still on, but raised off the ground).
Apparently just fine. No more training wheels for that boy! He is off to the races, and loving every minute!

We also made a trip to the Children's Museum in St. Paul this past week. The kids have been dying to go ever since they found out there was a new Lego display. And I must say it was pretty cool. It was a medieval castle theme, and there were life size figures built from Legos on display. I thought the dragon was amazing, and the soldier Luke is by used more Legos than any other display.
The Children's Museum is very interactive, there were 3 sizes of Legos you could build with (Luke could have stayed hours), you could design a wall built of legos on a computer and then use a boulder throwing catapult to see if it would withstand attack, but my personal favorite was the jousting.Hilarious. Ava also really enjoyed the Earth exhibit, you could play in a life size ant colony (yikes), go into a beaver lodge, and try on a turtle shell. Because why not.
Happy spring everyone!
