Trains, planes and automobiles

Since we more than covered automobiles on our trek out to DC, and we covered trains when we did our sightseeing, we decided to take on the planes at the air and space museum. Luke was very excited about this day as well, because he was going to get to see a space shuttle. And lots of other cool stuff.
Hannah was still not sick of sightseeing with us, and she joined us for the day. It really is a pretty cool museum. They have planes hanging from the ceiling looking like they are in mid-flight.
Besides seeing all of the military planes (WWI and WWI bombers, even a German bomber, among others), we also saw a concorde supersonic jet...
and the Enola Gay, famous for being the plane that dropped the first atomic bomb.
And then we got to see the space shuttle. Very impressive.
And that wrapped up our last sightseeing day in DC. We are looking forward to heading back!
