The pianist and the graduate

This time of year is always so busy with wrapping up school and activities.  Ava had her piano recital a couple of weeks ago and did a fabulous job as always.
And a couple of nights ago, Luke graduated from preschool.  On to kindergarten in the fall! (My heart just broke a little bit...)

I must take a minute to say a word about Luke's preschool teacher Miss Kari (in white with glasses).  There are some people born to be preschool teachers and she is one of them.  Absolutely fantastic.  My kids adored her.  I adore her.  She makes up songs and games, plays like she is 4, and is super creative.  She runs a very tight ship, and most importantly loves Jesus and is not afraid to tell the kids about the bible.  On the last day of school there was a sing along, and as she was saying the closing prayer started crying because she was so sad the year was over.  Not a dry eye in the house.  She is a once in a lifetime teacher.  We will certainly miss her as we move on to kindergarten in the fall.  Thanks for a great preschool experience Miss Kari!
