An Arizona Adventure

Happy spring break! We just got back from a week in Arizona visiting Sara's parents, and we had a great time. The weather was lovely most of the time, but we were fortunate (?) to be able to experience one of Arizona's worst winter storms in a long time. Yay. It was much warmer in Minneapolis than it was in Phoenix for a few of the days we were there. But we had fun anyway.
Lots of hiking, sightseeing, swimming, card playing and basketball watching (March Madness!). Here are a few pics of the trip...

We spent an afternoon in Fountain Hills feeding the ducks, watching the fountain (shooting 330 feet in the air!) and eating at Sr. Taco. Delicious!

The next day we picnicked at Papago Park and did a little hiking and climbing. Luke is quite the climber!

One of the cooler days we drove up the mountains to a little stagecoach town called Tortilla Flat. The town was a little sad, but the drive up and back through the mountains was spectacular.

Grandma was even a great sport and did a little hiking and climbing of her own.

Thanks for the great trip grandma and grandpa!
