And then you start to look forward to the next day you get to spend with them. The hugs, kisses, cute things they do, and the not so cute things. But first it is my turn to get some sleep! Good night!

The best time of night
Most people would think that after an exhausting day of chasing two toddlers, the best time of the night is when you get to put them in bed. I agree that is nice, having the house quiet, being able to hear yourself think, being able to go to the bathroom alone, these are all good things. But the best time of night is right before I go to bed. I tiptoe up the stairs and sneak into bedrooms for one final peek of the night. I get to tuck their little blankets around them, touch their soft little heads, and look at those beautiful little faces so completely peaceful. It is almost an indescribable feeling looking down at this little person who is part of you, yet so completely their own little being, fast asleep. It is truly the best part of the night!

And then you start to look forward to the next day you get to spend with them. The hugs, kisses, cute things they do, and the not so cute things. But first it is my turn to get some sleep! Good night!

This so so sweet Sara, and those pictures are precious. It almost makes me want some little ones of my own to tuck in....almost :-)
Sara,
what beautiful children :) I can't believe I still haven't met them...that's such a shame.
Thanks for sharing... and you should probably encourage Kali :)
