Little Miss Sunshine

The kids and I had to run a few errands yesterday, and while we were shopping we walked by a display of sunglasses. Not just any sunglasses, these were Dora, Tinkerbell, and the Disney Princesses sunglasses. Ava rarely asks for anything when we are shopping, so when she looked at me with those big brown eyes pleading and asked, "Mommy, can I please get some princess glasses?" I could hardly refuse, she even said please with out prompting! After very careful consideration, this is what we ended up with.
It is hard to see, but there are rhinestones and in the bottom right corner are Cinderella, Snow White and Sleeping Beauty. Pretty stylin'. She even wore them into the grocery store and got quite a few compliments! I think this is her subconsciously wishing spring would get here!

Yesterday also provided another Luke discovery. I caught him throwing away a couple of things in the garbage, which is in a cabinet in the kitchen. First his toothbrush and then his socks. I am not sure how long he has been doing this, I didn't even know he could open the door. This might explain where one of our remotes has ended up, as well as Mulan (Ava has a collection of Disney figurines). It might also explain why we go through pacifiers like there is no tomorrow. And he is sneaky about it! There is never a dull moment with these two!
