We had a very exciting morning! A couple of months ago, friends of ours gave Ava a bird watching kit, so we have been very into watching birds lately. We usually do this while we are eating breakfast or lunch because we have a great view of our backyard from our table. Well, this morning, as I was getting breakfast ready, Ava starts telling me there is a "really big bird up there!" So I look and on the top of our garage sits a beautiful mallard duck, green head shining. Ava was so excited she could hardly look at the camera!
Luke, however, was much more interested in his toast to be bothered with looking at some duck just sitting there. He is more of a squirrel or rabbit guy.
We have also seen cardinals, a hawk, robins, crows and of course many sparrows. Spring is here, now if we could just do something about the 40 degree weather!

I didn't know ducks perched on garages! I am with Luke though, don't come between me and breakfast!
At first I didn't read "crows" I saw cows- and I thought your were crazy and funny-but then I realized I was the crazy one!Love ya!
