Two posts in two days! This must be a record! I have had two conversations the past couple of days with Ava and I just have to post them before I forget, they were so funny.
Yesterday, Ava is pretending to be a puppy (she has been doing this a lot lately, not exactly sure why). After lunch I am standing at the sink doing dishes, and she is behind me and I hear her sniffing.
Me: Ava, what are you doing?
Ava: When puppies meet for the first time, they sniff each other's buns.
Me (shocked and horrified and wondering who else has she said this to?!): We don't ever sniff people's buns, even if we are pretending to be a puppy.
Ava: I wasn't sniffing YOUR buns.
Me (still horrified, but starting to laugh): That's good. Please don't. And no one else's either. EVER.
Today we are in the van and out of the blue,
Ava: Mom, do you only have 2 sisters?
Me: Yep. How many do you have? (Thinking, will she call Luke a girl?)
Ava (after a minute of pondering): Actually... 14.
Me (really surprised at that number!): What are their names and where do they live?
Ava: I don't know, but they live up in my room.
Maybe I need to check under her bed for children I didn't even know that I had!

That's histerical! Thanks for sharing, Sara. Sniffing buns...now there's a new way of making friends :-)
I know Hannah and Ava played a lot of puppy together last week, so I asked Hannah about the whole "bun sniffin" thing. She said they NEVER did that! They didn't even talk about it! Can't blame that one on the Causeys! Yipee!
What I want to know, is she predicting her 14 sisters????
