Blood, sweat and tears

I'll be the first to admit it is mostly Andy's blood and sweat and my tears, but the basement project is coming to an end. And he truly has done an amazing job. Here are some before and afters...We still need to hang a few pictures and will be getting different furniture and updating the TV, but definitely an improvement!No more ugly brick and useless bar! And don't get me started on the mismatched carpet! We created a guest space by using a storage cabinet as a divider. The guest bed is where the bar used to be.And then the bathroom project. I really don't have any before any construction took place pics, but this will suffice... You have no idea how much the clean hallway ministers to me.The soon to be bathroom, where the toilet will be...Andy did nearly everything himself in this room except the major plumbing and electrical. He had a couple of friends help out with setting the toilet and vanity, and some of the tiling, but it was mostly all him. I think he outdid himself. The shower especially is amazing! The door by the shower is not the door to the hallway, it is a storage room.
Not to shabby! I am so very thankful to have it done, and so proud of how hard Andy worked on everything! And I am very much so loving the fireplace.
