One of these days I will be caught up with laundry.
One of these days I will not have paint to touch up somewhere in the house.
One of these days my house will be clean.
One of these days I will have time to sit down and read a book and not be thinking of all of the other things I should be doing.
One of these days I will try all of the new recipes I have been meaning to try.
One of these days I will clean out closets and organize them.
One of these days I will clean the fridge and oven the way Grandma Schoon would like it done.
When I find out when one of these days actually is, I'll let you know. I have yet to find it. There are more important things to be done, such as...
Today I played memory with Luke and Ava. And they whipped me. Luke is scary good at memory.
Today I read books with my kids. Ava is becoming quite a reader. Very impressive. She even sounded out King Nebuchanezzar, with a little help from mom.
Today I paid bills. Not fun, but necessary.
Today I drank hot cocoa with the kids after they played outside. Delicious.
Today I read my bible. I always feel so much better after I do that.
Today I took Ava to piano lessons. I love listening to her play as I wait in the hallway.
Today I listened to Ava tell me what her favorite meals were. She listed seven. She has commented to us before, "I like sleeping. And eating."
Today I played legos with Luke. That kid has an imagination, I tell you.
Today my husband grouted a shower. Have I mentioned how much I love him?
I like today. One of these days can definitely wait.
