This past week I have been taking a trip down memory lane. I have been organizing my photos on my computer and sorting out the ones I want to have printed. The digital age is great, isn't it? I like to wait until I get an offer from somewhere for 25 free prints and then just pay for the shipping (can't help it, I am half Dutch). So while I have been organizing, I started looking at pictures of what we were up to a year ago. One year ago we had just sold our home in Villard, were living at my sister's, had a signed purchase agreement on our new house, Ava was living in a swim diaper and sunscreen and playing with cousins all day, and Luke was not even eating baby food.
So I am not missing the cereal days very much. But it is amazing to think back that this was only a YEAR ago! So much has happened since then and yet it seems like yesterday. People keep telling us that kids grow up overnight, and I am starting to believe it. We have come a long ways in a year! No more bottles for Luke, he can walk and is starting to talk (not much, but it is coming!), and Ava is potty trained and starting to write her name and letters. Where will we be a year from now?!? Only time will tell...
